RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said the state is emerging as the best destination for investment.
He was addressing the ‘Udyog Samagam’ organized in New Delhi on Thursday. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal chaired it. The industry ministers and representatives of all the states participated. The conference was attended by industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors from across the country, in which key issues related to trade, industry and economic development were discussed in detail.
Dewangan said, the state is included in the major mineral producing states. There is a favourable environment for setting up industries here. A new strategy has been made to provide all facilities to new industries. He said financial incentives and exemptions are also being given to increase investment and encourage industries.
He highlighted the huge investment potential in Chhattisgarh and the business initiatives taken by the state government. Mentioned the steps taken to promote the activities. He reiterated the commitment of the state government on better policies and development of infrastructure to attract investors to the state. He informed that the state government is providing many special schemes and facilities to encourage industries, so that Not only will there be economic development of the state, but new employment opportunities will also be created for the local youth.
