MAHASAMUND,CG,BHARAT: Acting on a tip-off, the revenue team, under the direction of Basna Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Manoj Khande, seized 160 bags of paddy from a house in Village Tada, Panchayat Ankori. The paddy, stored at the residence of Gangeshwari, was allegedly kept without proper documentation.
During the raid, officials demanded valid documents for the storage but found the documentation inadequate. The action was taken under the Mandi Act to curb illegal storage and transportation of paddy.
