RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: Under the Raipur South Assembly by-election 2024, counting of votes will take place on November 23 at the Government Engineering College, Sejbahar in Raipur district.
In this context, training of counting personnel was organized in the meeting room of the Circuit House located at Civil Lines. Returning Officer, Assistant Returning Officer, Security Nodal, Postal Ballot Nodal, Tabulation Nodal, Counting Supervisor, Counting Assistant and Micro Observer were given training in counting.
The state level master trainer informed the personnel about the precautions to be taken in counting of votes and the intricacies of every aspect. A model of the counting hall was made at the training venue. The counting teams inspected the model. Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh said that all the employees should work with their efficiency and better skills. All personnel should behave smoothly during the counting of votes. Dr. Singh said that the team should follow the election process completely.
The Collector said that after every round, signatures must be taken on the tabulation chart of the political agent. He said that the vote counting work is sensitive and this work should be executed very carefully.
Joint Election Officer P.S. Dhruv said that all the employees should receive better training and the counting of votes should be done efficiently. The nuances of training should be understood and work should be done accordingly.
On the occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep, Returning Officer Pushpendra Sharma, Deputy District Election Officer Umashankar Bande and other officers and employees were present.
