RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mumbai, organized a one-day workshop on "Digital Governance and Emerging Technologies" for government officials of Chhattisgarh on Monday . The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Ms Niharika Barik IAS, Principal Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Development Commissioner, Electronics and Information Technology, Chhattisgarh Government. The event was also graced by senior officials Shri Prabhat Malik, IAS, CEO of CHIPS, Shri Anand Mahalwar, Vice Chancellor ISBM University and Shri Kumar Biswaranjan, COO CHIPS, Ms Satovisha Samajdar IFS as the guest of honour .
Ms Niharika Barik in her keynote address talked about her previous experience with C-DAC. She also expressed hope that the workshop will benefit the Government officials of Chhattisgarh in understanding the various products in digital governance domain and its usage.
Prabhat Malik in his address gave a brief introduction about the work carried out by CHIPS as the nodal IT cell of the state government. He also stressed that the workshop should be mutually beneficial for both C-DAC and the departments. C-DAC should understand the requirements of departments and suggest possible C-DAC solutions.
Dr. Anand Mahalwar touched upon data synchronization and security in health domain based on his vast experience.
As part of the workshop, speakers from C-DAC Mumbai covered various products and services in varied technical domains like Blockchain, Accessibility – standard IS 17802, SATYA – website Accessibility testing tool , e-Pramaam - Single Sign On, e-Sammati - User Consent Management System, Annonshield- Data Anonymization, Aadhaar Ecosystem and Aadhaar Data Vault of C-DAC, Revival – A Business Continuity Solution and so on.
The workshop was hugely successful which was attended by more than 125 officials of different Chhattisgarh Government departments. It was a very interactive and engaging workshop which provided an insight into the work carried out by C-DAC Mumbai in the area of emerging technologies and digital governance.
