GGU signs MoU with ICCS India

BILASPUR,CG,INDIA: Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU), a Central University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Centre for Cultural Studies (ICCS) India. The event, held on Wednesday in the university’s Administrative Building, was graced by Chief Guest  Ravishankar Sharma, Research Officer, ICCS India, and presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Chakrawal, who also serves as Chief Patron of ICCS Bilaspur Unit.

Prof. Chakrawal highlighted that Indian culture, one of the world’s oldest, embodies peace and harmony. He emphasized India’s commitment to "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (the world is one family) and its strength in unity amid diversity. He expressed confidence that this MoU will promote cultural research, innovation, and global academic collaboration.

Ravishankar Sharma noted India’s significant role in cultural discourse worldwide and expressed optimism that the partnership will open new avenues for cultural studies and international engagement.
