Chhattisgarh delegation discusses startup ecosystem

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh’s delegation on a visit to Austria, held discussion with various Austrian delegates and organizations related to industries to strengthen the startup ecosystem in the state.

The delegation includes Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology Department and Chief Executive Officer of Chhattisgarh Information Promotion Society (CHiPS) Sameer Vishnoi, Additional CEO Ajitesh Pandey, and Joint CEO Nilesh Soni.

The delegation has visited the cities Vienna, Graz, Linz, and Innsbruck cities in Austria. The delegation held a meeting with Ms. Jennifer Zehog (Regional Manager, Asia), John Zariga (Startup Service), and Alexander Verglesky (Digital Technology) seeking details on startups operating in Vienna and other places in Austria, an official communication said.

Under the Advantage Austria Program, the Director of Invest Austria Jacob Sensik shared information on the Investment Invest Plan.

The delegation visited the Professor of Economics and Business, Vienna University, Rudolf Domotore seeking details of the university’s activities in the entrepreneurship programme.

With Carmen Gobi, Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the delegation held talks on startup ecosystems and investment.

The delegation also held interaction with the Non-Resident Indian community, organisations operating in the fields of startups, investment, and business shared their opinions.

The delegation also shared details on the startup ecosystem being developed in the state. The officers and entrepreneurs operating startups as well as investors were extended invitations to visit the state's startup ecosystem.
