RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Director, Health Services Bhim Singh on Monday underlined for better treatment for each and every patient coming to the hospital.
Conducting a surprise inspection of District Hospital Pandri, Raipur he said there should be no compromise with the quality of the services being provided. Providing better health facilities to the patients is the first priority of the department.
He inspected all the wards, operation theatres, intensive unit room, availability of medicines and the medicines being given to the patients. He also examined the functioning of ‘Hamar Lab’ operational in the hospital. Singh also interacted with the admitted patients and inquired about their well-being.
Dr. P K Gupta, Civil Surgeon, District Hospital Pandri said that the Director Health Services reviewed all the health services given in the hospital. The Lab was asked to increase sample collection even from nearby government health institutions.
A detailed discussion on the services being provided in the hospital including OPD, operation theatre, blood bank and other facilities was held, said Gupta.
Director called for conducting tests for sickle cell management. Based on the report received from Lab, patients should be given immediate treatment, Gupta said.
