Chhattisgarh begins preparation for first ODI

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh will host the first one day international (ODI) match for which the state administration has begun administrative preparation on Thursday. Raipur district collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure held a meeting with Chhattisgarh Cricket Association and SSP Prashant Agarwal at Red Cross Bhavan, here to discuss the preparation to host the event. The ODI will be played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket stadium, Nava Raipur on January 21, 2023. It is the second ODI match of the India vs New Zealand series. The officials reviewed the present status of the stadium with facilities, security and arrangement for volunteers. The emphasis was laid on parking arrangements around the stadium premises. It includes the route to reach the stadium from different sectors. The Collector asked the representatives of the Cricket Association to make an adequate number of ticket counters for the match.
