RAIPUR,CG: The 21-day district level summer sports camp will be organised from May 22 to June 11 for the sub-junior and junior category for both boys and girls at Raipur. Raipur District Collector Dr Gaurav Singh on Wednesday reviewed the preparations of the camp with sports association office bearers and sports trainers.
The camp will be organised in two sessions 06.00 am to 8.00 am and evening 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm. All the participants will be given certificates and the best players will be awarded. The sports department will provide all the sports equipment and extend other facilities.
The training camp will have volleyball, football, table-tennis, athletics, basketball, handball, netball, softball, baseball, hockey, archery, wrestling, squash, tennikoit, kick-boxing, judo, taekwondo, karate, weightlifting, kabaddi and other are included.
The training will be imparted through the sports associations and trainers at different grounds of the city. Being summer vacation the parents have been urged to send children for the camp.
