CG NEWS: Gariaband’s Chhindaula village gets power after 75 years of independence

RAIPUR,CG: Kamar tribe dominated Chhindaula village of Mainpur development block of Gariaband district, Chhattisgarh saw electric light after 75 years of independence.

Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the villagers invited him to visit their village.

Sai has said, “Such news is proof of the good works of our government, which gives spiritual satisfaction. Our government, which is working with good governance as its aim, has done the work of providing electricity under Janman Yojana to Chhindaula village of Gariaband district.”

The people of the special backward Kamar tribe live in Chhindaula, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Dabnai, 19 kilometers away from Mainpur Tehsil Headquarters. These people were tired of protesting and submitting applications several times demanding electricity in the village.

After formation of the BJP government, the Chief Minister himself took cognizance of the issue and on the demand of the villagers, ordered to provide electricity there under PM Janman Yojana.

It is the reason that on reaching electricity, the people of Kamar tribe repeatedly expressed their gratitude to the CM. They are hopeful of all-round development of the village.

Sai has pledged to provide other basic facilities to the villagers in Chhindaula village.
