Abhijeet Pathare (IAS) to gets Chhattisgarh Cadre

RAIPUR,INDIA: Chhattisgarh has welcomed another IAS officer as Abhijeet Baban Pathare, an IAS officer from the Manipur cadre, has been granted a cadre transfer following his marriage to Manasi Nanabhau Sakore, an IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre.

The Central Government has approved his request, and an official order has been issued by Sanjay Chaurasia, Under Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training.

IAS Abhijeet Pathare and IPS Manasi Sakore are set to marry, prompting Pathare’s request for a cadre change. The transfer was approved with the consent of both the Manipur and Chhattisgarh governments under the Indian Administrative Service Rules, 1954. With this change, IAS Pathare will now serve in Chhattisgarh instead of Manipur.

Pathare, a 2022 batch IAS officer, hails from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. He completed a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University and worked briefly before preparing for the UPSC exams. He cleared UPSC in 2021 with an All India Rank of 333, securing a post in the Manipur cadre.

IPS Manasi Nanabhau Sakore, a 2023 batch officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, is originally from Kendoor village in Shirur Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra. She cleared the UPSC exam in 2022 with an All India Rank of 531, becoming the first woman IPS officer from her taluka.
