Women voters exceeds male in Bemetara

BEMETARA,INDIA: The voter list for the upcoming urban body elections in Bemetara district has been released, registering a total of 75,106 voters across 10 urban bodies out of the 82,378 population. The number of female voters exceeds male voters, reflecting increasing participation of women in the electoral process.

The district comprises one municipality and nine nagar panchayats. The largest among them is the Municipal Council Bemetara, with 27,009 registered voters, including 13,209 men and 13,800 women.

The total population of these urban bodies is 82,378, with voter distribution as follows, 

Municipal Council Bemetara – 27,009 voters (13,209 male, 13,800 female), Nagar Panchayat Berla – 5,122 voters (2,454 male, 2,668 female), Nagar Panchayat Nawagarh – 9,606 voters (4,705 male, 4,901 female), Nagar Panchayat Saja – 4,858 voters (2,362 male, 2,496 female)

Nagar Panchayat Devkar – 5,511 voters (2,685 male, 2,826 female), Nagar Panchayat Purpodi – 3,333 voters (1,615 male, 1,718 female), Nagar Panchayat Thankhamharia – 7,907 voters (3,813 male, 4,094 female), Nagar Panchayat Kusami – 3,991 voters (1,892 male, 2,099 female), an Nagar Panchayat Bhumbhuri – 3,614 voters (1,773 male, 1,841 female)

With 36,577 male and 38,529 female voters, the figures highlight the growing participation of women in the democratic process. Election preparations are complete, and voting will take place peacefully as scheduled.
