CG: Bhupesh Baghel heads to Delhi for Congress meeting

RAIPUR,INDIA: Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and newly appointed Congress National General Secretary Bhupesh Baghel departed for Delhi on Monday. He shared that he would attend a meeting of the Congress General Secretary and In-charge on February 19, where he plans to meet senior leaders and express his gratitude for his new role.

When asked about Congress's poor performance in the recent urban body elections, Baghel stated that he would raise the issue within the party forum. On speculation regarding a potential change in the State Congress President (PCC Chief), he declined to comment, emphasizing that such decisions are made by the party high command. "If my opinion is sought, I will speak," he added.

In related Congress organizational changes, Minakshi Natarajan has been appointed as the In-charge for Telangana as part of a major reshuffle. Meanwhile, Mohan Prakash, who previously handled Bihar Congress, is stepping down, with Krishna Alavaru taking over the role for the Hindi-speaking state.
