RAIPUR,INDIA: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai held a meeting at the Ministry of Mahanadi Bhavan on Tuesday to discuss the budget proposals for various departments under the ministerial discussion on the main budget and new item proposals for the financial year 2025-26. Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary was also present during the discussions.
The meeting covered budget proposals for multiple departments, including Religious Trust and Religion, Electronics and Information Technology, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Village Industries, School Education, General Administration, Higher Education, Tourism and Culture, Public Grievance Prevention, Commercial Tax (Excise), Transport, Public Relations, Mineral Resources, Aviation, Good Governance and Convergence, and Energy.
During the budget discussions, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahoo, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Finance Secretary Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Mineral Resources and Public Relations Secretary P. Dayanand, General Administration Secretary Avinash Champawat, Agriculture Secretary Shehla Nigar, Village Industries Secretary Yashwant Kumar, and senior officials from the concerned departments were present.
