CG: High School, Higher Secondary exams from today

BEMETARA,INDIA: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is set to commence the High School and Higher Secondary main examinations. The Higher Secondary exams will begin on March 1 and continue until March 28, while the High School exams will start on March 3 and conclude on March 24. Both exams will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM.

A total of 22,527 students will appear for the exams across 77 examination centers in the district. Among them, 8,572 students will take the Higher Secondary exams, while 13,955 students will sit for the High School exams.

District Collector Ranbir Sharma in a meeting to review the preparations, emphasized the importance of strict vigilance to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations. He asked officials to contact the district and division-level control rooms for any issues that arise. Additionally, SDMs have been directed to inspect exam centers and ensure the availability of essential facilities such as seating arrangements, electricity, and water. Deputy Collector Pinky Manhar has been appointed as the examination nodal officer, while Professor TR Sahu will serve as the coordinator.

Superintendent of Police Ramakrishna Sahu provided details on security arrangements. He stated that police patrols and aerial monitoring will be conducted during the exams, with provisions for deploying additional police forces if necessary to maintain a fair and peaceful examination environment.
