CM honours donors of Agrawal community

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the honor and swearing-in ceremony organized by the Chhattisgarhi Agrawal Samaj in Raipur on the occasion of 'Daandata Divas'. During the event, he inaugurated the newly constructed 200-seater auditorium at Chhattisgarhi Agrawal Bhavan and honored the society’s donors.

Praising the Agrawal community’s dedication to charity and social service, Chief Minister Sai highlighted their 400-year-old association with Chhattisgarh and their significant contributions to the state's development. He acknowledged the community’s deep-rooted connection with business and philanthropy, citing their remarkable efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic as an example of their humanitarian service.

CM Sai also recognized the community’s donations and contributions to key institutions like DKS Hospital, AIIMS, and Sheetlandha Talab, as well as the donation of 1,900 acres for the Agricultural University. He commended their role in building dharamshalas, ponds, temples, and gaushalas, which have benefited all sections of society and fostered social harmony.

He further emphasized that the Agrawal community’s contributions extend across education, healthcare, employment, and support for girl marriages, making them an inspiration for others. He expressed confidence that the Agrawal Samaj would play a key role in realizing the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh and India by 2047, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

During the event, the Chief Minister administered the oath to the newly elected officials of the Chhattisgarhi Agrawal Samaj and honored prominent donor families. Raipur South MLA Sunil Soni also addressed the gathering, appreciating the community’s enduring contributions to society.
