BILASPUR,CG,INDIA: The 69th Rail Services Award ceremony was held by the South East Central Railway, Bilaspur Division, at the North East Institute Auditorium on Friday. The event was graced by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajmal Khoiwal as the chief guest, while Mandal Sekro President Bhagwati Khoiwal attended as a special guest.
Among the attendees were Additional Divisional Railway Manager Yogesh Kumar Dewangan, Divisional Personnel Officer Dr. Anshuman Mishra, and officials from various branches, unions, and associations.
In his address, DRM Khoiwal congratulated the award recipients and credited the division’s dedicated workforce for achieving a record-breaking freight loading of 189.7 million tonnes in the previous financial year. He acknowledged the hard work of all departments and emphasized that these accomplishments reflect the collective efforts of the railway workforce.
Highlighting the paramount importance of passenger safety, DRM Khoiwal reiterated the railway's commitment to maintaining vigilance in operations. He urged all railway personnel to prioritize safety and uphold their responsibilities with diligence.
Recognizing the role of families in supporting railway employees, the event also honored the family members of the awardees, underscoring their invaluable contribution. Awards were distributed across various departments for outstanding performance, with the Commerce Department receiving three shields, the Medical and Engineering Departments receiving two each, and the Security, Electricity, and Personnel Departments each receiving one.
