Raipur, CG: On the occasion of ‘National Youth Day’, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Mahasamund City Marathon is being organized jointly by Sports Youth Welfare Department and Pravah Nav Yuvak Mandal, in which runners between 14 years to 35 years can participate.
The marathon will start from Vishal Mega Mart Complex Mahasamund located on BTI Road and will continue till Helipad Macheva which is a distance of 5 km.
All runners will have to reach Vishal Mega Mart Complex Mahasamund by 7 am in the morning. The cash prizes are as follows: 1st place 5,100, 2nd 3,100, 3rd 1,100 and other runners up to 50th place will be given attractive prizes.
The objective of the event is to motivate the young generation towards health and literacy.
