Durg, CG: Nandkumar Baghel, father of former CM Bhupesh Baghel, merged into 'Panchatatva' on Wednesday in Kuruddih of Patan assembly constituency.
He was cremated as per Hindu rituals. Son Hitesh Baghel lit the funeral pyre of his father Nandkumar Baghel. A large number of BJP-Congress leaders and villagers were present.
The family were waiting for daughter Bharti Baghel to arrive from foreign country. Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal had also reached Kuruddih to pay his last respects to Nandkumar Baghel.
