‘Holy flame’ reaches Chhattisgarh from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi

Raipur, CG: The sacred flame from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Dham reached Chhattisgarh on Thursday.

Devotees who reached the capital Raipur with the sacred flame from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Dham, handed over the sacred flame urn to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at the State Guest House, Pahuna, along with chanting Vedic mantras.

Sai said that the Jyoti Kalash will be kept in the Shri Ram Temple of the capital Raipur, from where the sacred flame will be sent across the state. The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to light lamps in every house on the occasion of Shri Ramlala Pran Pratistha.

The Ram devotees who reached Chhattisgarh with the sacred flame stated that a seven-member group of Ram devotees had gone to bring the Jyoti Kalash from Ramjanmabhoomi.

Bhilai residents Rajjan Akil Khan and Shahnawaz from the Muslim community have also participated. The team included Pragnesh Mahendrabhai Patel, Raju Sahu, Arvind Patel, and Akash Pal.
