Balanced budget, no new tax: CCCI

Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries have welcomed the state budget terming it a balanced budget with no new tax.

State President of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries Amar Parwani, General Secretary Ajay Bhasin, Treasurer Uttam Golchha, Executive President Rajendra Jaggi, Vikram Singhdev, Ram Mandhan, Manmohan Aggarwal said that no new taxes were imposed in the budget which is welcome.

The budget is based on the economic development focus point of the presented budget “GYAN” supporting the poor, youth, Annadata (farmers) and women (women development), along with strengthening the rural economy, industry promotion, additional capital investment and education, health and all-round development of the state.

Parwani said that this is the first time after 20 years that the budget has been presented by the Finance Minister. The foundation stone of economic development of the state has been laid in the presented budget, which is a road map to take the GSDP of the state to Rs 10 lakh crore in the next 5 years. The presented budget is a balanced budget made keeping in mind industry-trade, rural economy and infrastructure development as well as farmers, youth, women, destitute and focused social justice.

He said Finance Minister has propounded 10 pillar ideology for the all-round development of the state in the budget, in which various important decisions were taken on the demand of the Chamber like, development of single window system, Establishment of food park, Small and cottage industries, Establishment of new industrial area, Smart Tourism, Smart Market, IT sector, To promote small enterprises under Plug and Play in Nava Raipur.

To create employment for the youth of the state, new posts have been approved in health, education and various sectors, about which there is a lot of enthusiasm among the youth. At the grassroots level, the budget is being seen as a means of development for the last person of the society. Various big announcements have been made in the budget, which will give far reaching results in the development of the state and will give impetus to the business and employment of the state, the office bearers said.
