RAIPUR,CG: The last rites of three deceased due to Covid-19 were performed at Devendra Nagar Muktidham in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
The last rites were performed following the guidelines of Covid-19. Consent of the relatives of the deceased was taken, then the last rites process was carried out. Teams from District Administration, Municipal Corporation, Mekahara (Medical College) and Police Department were present.
The bodies of three people who died of Covid-19 were kept in the mortuary of Mekahara. The district administration gathered information from the relatives of the deceased and took their consent. The last rites were then performed.
