CG NEWS: Raipur to have 21 e-buses service

RAIPUR,CG: The capital city of Chhattisgarh, Raipur city is being geared to operate 21 e-buses from the Bhatagaon Interstate Bus Stand.

On Thursday, Transport Secretary S. Prakash, Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravi Shankar, Deputy Transport Commissioner Manoj Dhuv inspected Bhatagaon Interstate Bus Stand. 21 e-buses will be operated from the bus stand for which two and a half acres of land has been marked.

The Transport Secretary and Additional Transport Commissioner inspected the said land and instructed the Municipal Corporation and the Electricity Department to develop basic infrastructure. Instructions were given to RTO Raipur for NOC from Municipal Corporation.

Both also inspected the driving license centre of Pandri. They interacted with common citizens about the process of making a license. They expressed satisfaction over the process.

They then observed the driving license test driving training task. Along with it, they inspected the city centre and took information about the license printing work.

Driving license will be made through a single window, so that the license reaches as soon as possible. Care should also be taken to ensure that the general public does not face any problem while obtaining any kind of driving license, the officials said.

Raipur RTO Ashish Dewangan and ARTO Prateek Shukla and other officers, employees were present.
