CCCI jumps in to encourage voters through rebates

RAIPUR,CG: With intention to increase the percentage of urban voting in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, as part of initiatives, Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) have also jumped in with rebates and offers to the voters of Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

CCCI president Amar Amar Parwani, met Raipur Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and announced that different business groups will give discounts on their products to encourage voters.

He said that the voter showing his fingerprint arriving in shops and establishments for purchase of any product will immediately be given different discounts on various products. Similar offers are also being provided by restaurants.

DEO Dr Singh praised the efforts and the initiative and felicitated the members of the Chamber of Commerce including Parwani by giving them a badge and a mug.

Parwani said that 10 percent discount will be given by Furniture Association, 10 percent by Textile Traders Association, 15 percent by Raipur Optical Association, 5 percent by Plywood Association and 15 percent discount on gold making charges by Bullion Association.

Ravi Bhavan Traders Association will give 10 percent discount on its accessories products and will give free mobile guard along with mobile repairing. FMCG Wholesale Distributors Association (Banjari Market) said that they will give a 15 percent discount on MRP. Cafe and Restaurant Association will give 10 percent discount, RADA will give 10 percent discount on car accessories, Transport Association will give 10 percent discount on freight of goods carriers with capacity more than 5 tons.

An attractive gift will be given on every laptop by the Computer Association. Customers of the Aluminum Association will get attractive gifts. 15 percent discount on food items will be given by IDBT Traders Association (New Bus Stand), 10 percent discount on MRP will be given by Toy Traders Association. Attractive gifts will be given to the voters by Marble Tiles Association, Dry Fruit Association, Cycle Association, Golbazar Traders Association, Banjari Road Traders Association, Car Accessories Traders Association, said Parwani. He said the discount will last from May 7 to May 12. 3,000 vegetable packets will be distributed by Shri Ram Wholesale Market. It will be done on May 8.

Earlier, MayFair Lake Resort was first to come up with the offer, followed by Babylon Inn and Babylon Capital, Golf and Lake Resort, Nava Raipur on food and room tariff, and Spree Walk, Telibandha.

The hospitals, includes, Sanjeevani Hospital, Balaji Hospital, Global Star Hospital, Shri Narayana and MMI Narayana Hospital, Ramkrishna Care, Shri Venkatesh Hospital, ECHT Conglomerate Private Limited with flat 35 percent and PVR with 30 percent rebate.
