HNLU signs MoU with National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs (NACIN)

RAIPUR,CG: Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) Raipur in Chhattisgarh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Academy of Indirect Taxes and Customs (N.A.C.I.N.) . on Monday.

The partnership aims to foster mutual growth and development in the field of indirect taxation and customs laws.

Prof. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor, H.N.L.U. remarked, “The MoU will mutually benefit both institutions in the areas of capacity building, research and advocacy. There will be a mutual learning curve between the partner institutions in the crucial segments of GST, Customs and Narcotics.”

Shailender Kumar, Additional Director of N.A.C.I.N., expressed, “It is a significant partnership for N.A.C.I.N. to get expertise on various legal processes from the premier law University.”

As per the MoU, both institutions will organise joint symposia, conferences, workshops, and other educational events, exchange of information on developments in teaching methodologies, trainee development, and research activities, co-sharing of training resources on various legal and procedural topics, development of collaborative research and training programs and mutual utilization of each other’s facilities and resources for educational purposes.

Shailendra Kumar, Additional Director of NACIN and Registrar I/C of HNLU, Dr. Vipan Kumar signed the MoU. Prof. (Dr.) Paramjit Jaswal, Vice-Chancellor of SRM University, Sonepat; Govind Miri, Senior Advocate at the High Court of Chhattisgarh; and Shivi Shangwan, Deputy Director, N.A.C.I.N and others were present.
