BEMETARA,CG: Chairman/ Bemetara Principal District Judge Brijendra Kumar Shastri, organized a paralegal training program for the Legal and Defense Council System and paralegal volunteers on Wednesday.
Under the ‘State Plan of Action Calendar 2024’ run by the Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority Bilaspur the session was organized at the rest room of the District Judge. Nidhi Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Bemetara was also present.
The sessions dealt with schemes run by NALSA and SALSA, rights of senior citizens, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Act, NALSA Toll Free Number 15100, Hamar Angana Scheme, Sachet Campaign, free legal aid and legal rights.
Information was provided regarding resolution of cases eligible for reconciliation in the upcoming National Lok Adalat. Legal and Defense Council Bemetara Chief Dinesh Tiwari and Deputy Chief and Assistant Geeta Das and Paralegal Volunteers were present.
