Coordination meeting held for President’s visit

RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: In anticipation of President of India Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming two-day visit to Chhattisgarh on October 25 and 26, Governor Ramen Deka had asked officials to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.

Secretary to the Governor, Yashwant Kumar, held a coordination meeting at the Raj Bhavan on Friday, providing detailed instructions to ensure that all preparations are made according to protocol.

During her visit, the President will serve as the chief guest at several prestigious events, including the convocation ceremonies at AIIMS Raipur, IIIT Raipur, IIT Bhilai, and Pt. Deendayal Memorial Health Sciences Ayush University.

Yashwant Kumar emphasized that all educational institutions must complete the required arrangements for these important events.

Additionally, the call was made to Raipur and Durg district administrations, along with officials from the Public Works Department, Municipal Corporation, Public Health Engineering, Health Department, Police, and State Protocol, to complete all preparations within the stipulated time.

The meeting was attended by Joint Secretary to the Governor, Hina Animesh Netam, Dean of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Dr. Vivek Chaudhary, and various other officials involved in the planning of the President's visit.
