Chhattisgarh HC issues warning against fraudulent practices

BILASPUR,INDIA: The Chhattisgarh High Court has issued a public warning to protect citizens from fraud and false promises related to legal proceedings.

Registrar General of the High Court, Vinod Kujur, issued a notice cautioning individuals who falsely claim to guarantee favourable outcomes in court cases. The notice emphasized that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found guilty of such practices.

The warning addresses individuals involved in misleading people by promising favourable results in ongoing cases in the Chhattisgarh High Court and district courts across the state. Those making such false assurances will be considered criminals, the notice stated.

According to the Registrar General, some individuals are misusing the judicial process, taking advantage of innocent parties by making deceptive promises. As a result, criminal prosecution will be recommended for the offenders.

The High Court urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid falling for such fraudulent claims. The court also clarified that parties who accept such inducements would also face legal consequences. This move aims to preserve the integrity of the justice system and safeguard the rights of individuals involved in legal proceedings.
