RAIPUR,INDIA: Chhattisgarh BJP State General Secretary Sanjay Srivastava emphasized the importance of the upcoming urban body and three-tier panchayat elections in Chhattisgarh.
Speaking at the theme song launch event held at the BJP office in Ekatma Parisar, Raipur, he pointed out that the public had already shown strong support for the BJP in both assembly and Lok Sabha elections, driven by their dissatisfaction with the previous Congress government's corruption and injustices.
Srivastava highlighted that these elections, being closer to the public, are more significant as they directly impact local governance in cities and villages. He added that BJP’s campaign strategies, including the release of a detailed manifesto, focus on the party's achievements and future development plans. Unlike Congress’s charge sheet, BJP’s manifesto presents concrete actions that aim to address the public’s needs.
A key feature of the BJP’s election campaign is its use of songs as a medium for promoting its message. Srivastava stressed that the theme song is not just entertainment but a reflection of BJP’s mission and vision for the state’s development. He praised the cultural cell and media teams for preparing the song, which will showcase the government's achievements and vision for urban and rural progress.
BJP MLA Anuj Sharma also spoke at the event, emphasizing that the theme song resonates with the spirit of Chhattisgarh’s people. He noted that local artists, including lyricists, musicians, and singers, contributed to the song, which reflects the public's trust in the BJP’s ability to fulfill its promises. Sharma pointed to BJP’s past leadership under Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Dr. Raman Singh, which shaped the state’s identity and development.
Sharma also expressed confidence in the upcoming elections, stating that Chhattisgarh’s people have continually shown their support for BJP’s governance. He concluded by paying tribute to Rajesh Awasthi, the late former President of the BJP Cultural Cell.
BJP Media In-charge Amit Chimani highlighted the party’s innovative approach to engaging the public through various mediums. The theme song, which will be aired across multiple platforms, is designed to connect with the public’s sentiments and inspire confidence in BJP’s leadership for the upcoming election cycle.
