RAIPUR: The health and family welfare department, Government of Chhattisgarh will commence the survey, identification and registration on the U-WIN platform from August 7.
Two-day training programme was given to the field officers of the health department posted in the districts regarding the use of the U-Win digital platform. The Government of India has prepared it for vaccination of pregnant women and children under the regular vaccination programme, an official communication said.
It was said that Mission Indradhanush 5.0 will be held in three phases in the state. All the left out children will be surveyed and identified and registered on the U-WIN platform and vaccinated. The first phase will be conducted from August 7 to August 12. The second phase is from September 11 to September 16 and the third phase from October 9 to October 14, 2023.
The platform is used for name based tracking of the beneficiaries. It will help in getting all the children vaccinated on time. The number of left-out and drop-out children will be reduced. Digital certificate is also issued immediately after vaccination through U-Win. At present, pilot projects have been undertaken in Rajnandgaon and Mahasamund districts. From August 7, the use of U-Win will be started in all the districts of the state.
The Deputy Director of Immunization in the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi and team leader of UNPD encouraged the participants by participating online in the workshop.
