The quality of an institution is directly related to its research work. There is importance of research in higher education, said Dr. N. V. Ramana Rao, Director of the National Institute of Technology, Raipur on Friday.
He was addressing the concluding event of Second Research Scholars Conclave of NIT Raipur. The certificates were given to the winners of different five groups. The booklet ‘Abstract’ of the Second Research Scholars Conclave was released by all the dignitaries.
He said that it is important to get the paper accepted, get research funding and present the papers in an effective and factual manner.
He advised researchers to note down sudden ideas and use organized documents while writing their thesis. He asked the researchers to follow the right process and encourage innovation and creativity in their work.
Dr. P.Y. Dhekne encouraged the PhD students for their unique work. He stressed the importance of presentation and said that without it, important research efforts may not receive the recognition they deserve.
Over 200 papers were presented. Tanveer Haider, Divya Khosle, Anjali Rajak, Nilesh Jatta and Labhish Baid were awarded with a certificate.
