RAIPUR (CG): Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Chhattisgarh to create awareness for second special summary revision of voter list in state is organising a walkathon on August 2 in capital city, Raipur.
In an appeal issued by CEO Reena Babasaheb Kangale has said all the citizens of the city including youth, women, senior citizens, differently-abled, third gender community, social service organizations and government officials-employees should participate. Walkathon will begin at 7 am at G.E. Road located at Gandhi Udyan Chowk and ends at Shaheed Smarak Bhavan.
In another appeal, Kangale asked the youths turning 18 by October 1 to apply for the inclusion of their names in the voters list.
The drive to add new names and amend the voter list will begin on August 2 and continue till August 31.
