RAIPUR: The Government of Chhattisgarh has approved the amount for the next one year as per the increase in honorarium of the Swachhata Didis working under Mission Clean City Scheme in Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayats from the month of September 2023.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Independence Day address has pledged to hike the honorarium.
The Urban Administration and Development Department order states that the state government approved an amount of Rs 79.76 crore for honorarium for 9,232 manpower for the next one year (from 01 October 2023 to 30 September 2024) from the rate of Rs 7,200.
