CG NEWS: Congress to hold ‘Bharosa Yatra’ from October 2

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee will organize a one-day assembly-level ‘Congress Bharosa Yatra’ on October 2, to mark the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

The yatra will reach as many villages as possible in all the 90 assembly constituencies of the state, along with the public welfare schemes of the state government. It would also highlight the deceit done by the Bharatiya Janata Party government during its 15-years tenure. A general public meeting will be organised in the form of street meetings during the yatra.

At the Lok Sabha level, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will lead the yatra at Rajnandgaon, Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo will lead at Surguja and Raigarh, State Congress President Deepak Baij at Bastar and Kanker, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu at Durg and Bilaspur, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant at Korba and Janjgir and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Daharyia at Raipur and Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency.
