RAIPUR: Dr. Praveen Verma has been appointed as the acting Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission and Santkumar Netam has been appointed as member on Wednesday.
The notification issued by the General Administration Department, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1A) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India, the Governor has amended the provisions contained in Regulation 3(2) of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 2001. Under it, Dr. Praveen Verma, member of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission, has been authorized to perform the administrative duties of the Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Public Service Commission.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India, the Governor, under the provisions contained in sub-regulation 3(1) of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 2001, Santkumar Netam, Ward No.-3, Uslapur, P.O. Sakri, District-Bilaspur has been appointed to the post of Member of CGPSC from the date of assumption of charge.
