Raipur/Delhi: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday met former Congress President Sonia Gandhi. He has been on a Delhi tour since Tuesday.
The Chief Minister Baghel is meeting senior Congress leaders. After which CM Baghel was expected to have a meeting with Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.
Baghel wrote in X, “Had a courtesy meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence today. He has worked tirelessly in the elections of five states. His energy is inspiring for us. I once again assured him of the victory of Congress in Chhattisgarh.”
He also met Ajay Maken, treasurer of AICC at his residence.
Chhattisgarh state Assembly elections have been completed and the counting will be held on December 3. The Congress Party has kept its leaders and workers on duty outside all the strong rooms in the state.
