CG NEWS: BCCI’s international cricket stadium in Bilaspur soon

Bilaspur, CG: Chhattisgarh will get its second international cricket stadium in Bilaspur for which, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of India.

Raipur has Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket stadium at Nava Raipur. The Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association for an International Cricket Stadium in Bilaspur for a long time. The BCCI has approved the proposal of the State Cricket Association. Instructions have been given to the Cricket Association to find a place for the stadium. The vital part is that this will be the first stadium of the BCCI in the state.

15 to 20 acres of land or more will be required for the ground and its pavilion and other facilities. So that it can have state level, Ranji level, T-20 and test matches. The boundary of the field will be 80 to 85 meters. With the match format, the boundaries of the field will be made bigger and smaller, as is the case in an international cricket stadium. At present, the district administration has started the work of finding land within 10 to 15 kilometres. After getting the land, the stadium will be constructed and the facilities will be expanded.
