RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: The residents of Chhattisgarh, from October 1, will get daily direct flights to Ahmedabad. Earlier, flights used to operate in the sector only three days a week, but now Indigo has decided to operate it daily after obtaining permission from the Director General of Civil Aviation.
The company has already started booking tickets by releasing the schedule. The budget airline Indigo has got permission from the Director General of Civil Aviation to operate daily flights in the Ahmedabad-Raipur-Ahmedabad sector. Along with it, the company has also started booking tickets with the proposed schedule. On the flight, tickets to and from Ahmedabad are available for Rs 4500-5000 on October 1.
Regular operation of the flight along with the festive season will increase the state's trade with Gujarat. For the last three years, the flight was operated only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In view of the good demand from passengers, the company has now decided to operate it regularly.
Indigo operates flights from Swami Vivekananda Airport to Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Prayagraj, Jagdalpur, Indore, Kochi, Chennai, Pune and Ahmedabad. Maximum four flights are operated in a day in Delhi-Raipur-Delhi sector.
