RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: The Board of Directors of the Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation approved the establishment of a new beverage depot or warehouse in Manendragarh. This facility will ensure a steady supply of wine to shops in the Surguja division and surrounding areas, including the districts of Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur, Korea, and Surajpur.
State Health and Family Welfare Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal chaired the meeting at ‘Abakari Bhawan’, Raipur, discussing several key agendas aimed at improving operations. The meeting focused on enhancing the distribution network of beverages across the region.
The Board also reviewed and approved the financial statements for the 2023-24 fiscal year and gave the go-ahead for tenders related to housekeeping services at the Durg and Bilaspur warehouses. Additionally, the purchase of a generator for the Arsanara-Durg warehouse was sanctioned.
Officials from the Commercial Tax Excise Department, State Beverage Corporation, and the Finance Department were present during the discussions.
