Special train to Ayodhya flagged off

RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: A special train carrying 850 pilgrims from Bilaspur Division departed for Ayodhya Dham under the Chhattisgarh Government’s Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana on Wednesday.

Labour and Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Belatra MLA Sushant Shukla, and District Panchayat President Arun Singh Chauhan flagged off the special train.

At the railway station, the pilgrims received a grand welcome, with traditional music, dance, and celebrations marking the occasion. Besides Ayodhya Dham, these devotees will also have the opportunity to visit Kashi Vishwanath. Devotees were singing devotional hymns as they boarded the special train.

Among the devotees, there were prominent individuals from Korba district, including Hari Prasad Maitre, Manmohan Sahu, and Banwari Patel, as well as Usha Vajpayee from Bilaspur district. They all expressed appreciation for the Chief Minister’s support. They emphasized that the government’s initiative to facilitate pilgrimage journeys for senior citizens was a noble act. They shared that although many elderly wish to undertake such pilgrimages, financial limitations often prevent them. They expressed their deep gratitude to the government for fulfilling the wish.

The special train to Ayodhya Dham also includes 225 passengers from Bilaspur district. Under the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, devotees will receive a comprehensive package covering travel from Chhattisgarh to Ayodhya, accommodation, temple visits, as well as meals and refreshments. The train is equipped with a team of tour escorts, security personnel, and medical professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
